ABOUT US

Visionary Digital Technology Group, Inc. (VDT) is a subsidiary of Visionary Education Technology Holdings Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: VEDU). It was established in 2019, from an VEDU company, reorganized to serve the current mission, the Digital Media sector of the VEDU Group.

VDT’s mission: to develop and promote digital media creations and productions, serving film industry with trendy digital technologies, supplying trained team artists, leading the latest technology breakthroughs of the growing industry, from Canada to the world.

Under the VEDU Group, MTM College (with the origin of Max The Mutt College of Animation, Arts and Designs, Toronto, ON) is currently the most valuable post-secondary career education. It has been MTM College’s foundation art programs made a reputation in Canadian industry and community. In 1980s a group of renowned American artists from New York City settled in Toronto. They created MTM College in 1990s. After VEDU Group’s acquisition upon MTM College in 2021, the college’s operation and development is currently under VTD’s supervision.

Building out from base of Max The Mutt origin, VDT has gathered a cluster of Hollywood veteran visual effect and media design artists, studios and companies, integrated with MTM College graduates who grow into Hollywood frontline from Toronto, to organize a joint venture group. Known as a StageX Crew, represents experiences, knowledge, know-how content IPs, and proprietary technologies, along with a business plan well-modeled to meet challenges and trends of the industry and market sector.

VDT is an international entity gathering resources and spreading out products in Los Angeles, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Vancouver and Montreal, and it arrived Toronto in 2022.

The business model is uniquely engineered and executed, with a fusion of education and production, to generate combined revenues meeting private career educations’ financial challenges, as well fulfill its parent group’s high-growth IPO demand.

Johann Kuhn, serves the board as a member, and president of VTD, he also serves function of the chancellor of MTM College. He is the initiator and president of Visionary Technology Accelerator, Inc. (DBA Canada’s Technology Innovation Park).
Kuhn’s academic background is in applied mathematics and control theory. He received a BSMath, and a MSEE in McGill University, followed by an intensive graduate-study in mathematics in University of Florida. Kohn has been successful and experienced in East Canada region for global communication corporations, AT&T, Bell and Nortel. His R&D and engineering tasks have spread out in Canada, USA, South America and Europe.
Kuhn also had close encounters with Chinese-Canadian community in Greater Toronto Vicinity, and traveled to China. Kuhn has 15+ years worked for Canada provincial government administrations in local technology and industrial relations.
Kohn hands-on masters VDT’s outreach to Canadian government, industries, Canadian First Nations and Canadian film consul and programs. He associates MTM College and Visionary Accelerator to US, Europe and South Asia educational institutes and capitalists.
Kuhn has been serving VEDU Group, as acting COO.

Jin Luo, serves the board as chairman and CEO of VTD. He also serves function of CEO of MTM College.
Luo’s academic background has an origin of BS in Computer Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. He had a MS in Computer Science from Caltech in 1980s. Luo was served as a Staff Researcher in Computation and Neural Systems in Caltech and Vision at Rockwell Science Center. Luo served 15+ years as a US government contracted researcher in integrated circuit (IC) applications in visual data processes and CAD (Tanner Research, Inc. Pasadena, California). He later founded and served in a US venture capital startup (Vivache Semiconductor, Boston, Beijing, Rochester). He stationed a 1/3 of his time in Beijing for some 15 years.
Luo has conducted his own international consulting business, Frontier Technologies Consortium Global, LLC (www.ftcg.net) since 2008. He has accumulated diversified knowledges and experiences in technology and business developments, with practical skills in corporate operations, specifically concentrated on mature-and-proven technologies that enable trendy innovations and applications. He and his European pattern hosts an innovation portfolio in Zurich, a AIEC International GmbH.
Luo is also fluent in China traditional culture, historic and modern politics, comparison literature (English and Chinese), with distinguished observations and views. He initiated BON IO Distribution and WildWorld Studio, the two partnerships that hosted creative content developments and technologies, which are critical elements of VDT business.
Luo’s involvement in Hollywood film industry, was based on his early personal encounter in 1980s. His interests grew through years, relating to the later business knowledge, his life-time engineering practices in vision technologies and digital signal processing. In 2012, he started consulting to a top US Visual Effect company (R&H Studios 1987-2013, Los Angeles), With founder and operator of former R&H, John P. Hughes, the two formed a partnership in Beijing in 2015, which initiated a group of Hollywood artists, who technically contributed all 4 major VFX-intense films produced in China in 2017-2019, including two who received record-high box office returns in China.
Luo engineered the plan, model and operation of VEDU’s digital technology sector, including MTM College’s expansion and growth. This formulated MTM College to become a differentiated at-leading-edge among private career-education institutes in Canada. As a Fusion of Career Education and Campus Production. Luo brings 5+ Hollywood, Montreal and British Columbia studios and institutes along, to make the college technologically very capable and economically savvy. This fulfills VEDU’s ambitious involvements in career education, visual production, studio operation and media production.
Luo has been serving VEDU Group, as its Chief Engineer.

Pauline Zhou, serves the board as a member, of VDT, represents VEDU Group who she founded and as CEO.
Zhou is a Chinese-Canadian first generation immigrant, acquired MTM College and other 5 local colleges and academies, brought them to IPO in 2022 (www.visiongroupca.com)
Zhou initiated the VEDU’s Digital Media sector with John Kuhn and Jin Luo. They cofounded VDT.
